नमस्ते!
Namaste! In other words, greetings friends! Born in Bidar, India and raised in Austin, Texas, my name is Aishwarya Noubad, but you can call me Aish. With my superwoman mom lugging our bags from India and taking care of my crying 10-month old sister, I was a wide-eyed five year old on a flight to the land of liberty to be reunited with my dad. My courageous parents left our entire family and worked hard to give me and my sister the good life with new opportunities for greatness as we were (and still are) the only Noubad’s in America, but we’ll never forget our roots.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Radio-Television-Film with a focus in screenwriting and communication, and a certificate in Business Foundations. Other than being an avid moviegoer, I enjoy spending time with my family, petting as many dogs as possible, and attending Hip-Hop workshops at local dance studios. Now, I’m currently living in Los Angeles, following my dreams of being a starving artist (I mean screenwriting, like everyone else here.)
I always loved storytelling. As an extroverted child who wasn’t afraid to make new friends, I often was eager to get to know those around me and listen to their stories. Reading mystery novels, listening to NPR with my dad on the way to school, writing poems and short stories, watercolor painting, figure skating, and Bollywood dancing were just some of the ways I liked to express my thoughts and share my moments with the world. Eventually, I became fascinated with telling stories through photography, filmmaking, and social media.
Now as a writer and producer, one of the most important aspects to me is how story affects the audience and the emotion we can evoke, especially in children’s TV & film.
My dream is to write for kids (6-11) animation, to be a part of a brand that puts kids first in everything it does with evergreen stories and characters that kids can relate to in these changing times today.
And that’s why I’m here. Happy to be in LA and here to stay!
